The Company
This privately owned company with an international footprint has an enviable reputation in the market place for providing high quality engineered sealing solutions and unrivalled customer service across a wide range of applications within diverse industry sectors.
At an exciting time in the company’s development and poised for further growth an outstanding opportunity now exists for a dynamic and suitably experienced Key Account Manager/Technical Account Manager.

The Position
Dealing with customers within a diverse range of industries and tasked with managing and growing existing Accounts primarily within Southern England. The Key Account Manager/Technical Account Manager will also be responsible for developing new business opportunities.
Reporting at Director level, this position is predominantly home based and will involve spending time visiting customers and the company’s head office as required. The appointed Key Account Manager/Technical Account Manager will assume responsibility for:

• Promoting the company’s range of seal products across multiple industry sectors.
• Managing key and strategic accounts, ensuring the highest possible level of customer service is maintained and developing these accounts to their optimum revenue potential.
• Ensuring that customer concerns are dealt with quickly and efficiently
• Identifying new business opportunities within the guidelines of the corporate strategic plan focusing on developing technical and commercial solutions.
• Ensuring that all new accounts and business opportunities are fully evaluated and that each new enquiry has sufficient technical and commercial detail to allow a complete solution to be established
• Delivering quotations on new business, ensuring that the full customer requirement is being sufficiently and appropriately addressed.
• Ensuring that the ethical and professional reputation of the company is maintained at all times.

The Candidate
Candidates should have a relevant Engineering background and must have a proven track record within Sales and Account Management. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

• Solid experience in a technical field based sales position within relevant industries
• A track record of achieving KPI, revenue and margin targets
• Ability to present technical solutions to all levels within a business
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills
• Drive and enthusiasm to succeed
• A full UK driving Licence
